
The images on this page were provided by the courtesy of Shipmate Sam Scilla. Sam served aboard Wasp during 1951-1955, in the S-3 Division. Sam sent a large collection of photos for my original Wasp website and he is still contributing. I hope to get all of Sam's contributions up in these pages in the near future ... but don't hold your breath.
Identification of the aircraft and squadron information was contributed by one of our most respected shipmates, Clyde "Tex" Holland. Tex served in VF-171 aboard Wasp in 1953-1954.
