Banshees stand inspection with this crew. Best watch 'em. These aircraft are from CAG-5 and were not on the 1953-54 cruise with CAG-17.

Other CAG-5 aircraft stand for inspection too. These little guys in the foreground are most likely F4U-5's.

A flock of Banshees (F2H-2) nest on the flight deck. There also appears to be a Skyraider or two on the forward end of the flight deck; they have NO tip tanks on their wings.

An F4U-5, Corsair, charges into the wind toward the big blue. Didn't I see these in a WWII photo somewhere?
